Mikal Bridges Over 22.5 Points (-110)

Mikal Bridges played just 32 minutes in a blowout win over the 76ers but managed to score 23 points, including five three-pointers. For three consecutive games, Bridges made 5+ triples, and I am backing him to stay hot from downtown against the Warriors, who allow 13.2 threes per game this season.

Bridges leads the Nets in points (21.9) and minutes per game (35.1) this season. He has a favorable matchup against Klay Thompson, who will move to a small forward position due to Andrew Wiggins’ injury. Thompson is not a good defender, and I seriously doubt he can cope with Bridges’ athleticism and perimeter threat.

Bridges didn’t have a good shooting display the last time he faced the Warriors. He was 6-17 and finished with 18 points. Golden State allows 21.7 ppg to the opposing small forwards, and Mikal will score at least 23 in this one.

Mikal Bridges Over 23.5 Points (-120)

For the second pick in the Suns vs Nets Player Prop Bets, I have another player who faces a former team. Mikal Bridges came to Brooklyn in the aforementioned Kevin Durant trade and immediately became a go-to guy for the Nets. This season, Mikal averages a team-high 21.9 ppg and a team-high 35.0 mpg.

Bridges was a bit nervous when the Nets surprised Phoenix in a road win earlier this season. He finished with 7-19 from the floor and 19 points. I expect a better display from him this time out, given he scored 26+ points in six of the previous ten outings.

The Suns are the best in the NBA when it comes to defense against small forwards as they allow 18.7 ppg. However, Grayson Allen, who is the most deserving of that sturdy D, sprained his right ankle during Monday’s win over Miami and may miss at least one game. That would be a massive opportunity for Mikal to score a bunch of buckets. Bridges made 3+ triples in six of the last seven games.

Mikal should take between 15 and 20 shots in this one, and the fact Ben Simmons is returning from a lengthy injury is a plus for Bridges. Simmons is known as more than capable of finding an open teammate, and I believe Brooklyn as a team will improve with his return.

Cam Thomas Over 2.5 Threes Made (+140)

He is the team’s second top-scorer with 21.0 ppg, although he averages only 28.8 minutes per contest. This season, Thomas is shooting 34.9% from beyond the arc. He made three triples in the most recent win over the Rockets, and I think he can repeat that due to a favorable matchup. Additionally, the Jazz allow 22.2 ppg and 3.5 threes per game to the opposing shooting guards. Let’s not ignore the fact that Thomas hit five triples and finished the previous H2H against Utah with 32 points.
