Auburn is not a team you want to have those issues against, as they turn you over and relish the opportunities to get out in transition. I just don’t see Michigan keeping this one close for a full 40 minutes, so give me Auburn in this one.

Michigan Wolverines Betting Preview

Michigan looked pretty great in the win column for most of the year, but they did falter a bit at the end of the regular season. The Wolverines managed a solid 13-3 start with losses to only Wake Forest, Arkansas and Oklahoma. A 1-2 stretch with losses to Minnesota and Purdue (around a win over Northwestern) came in January, then wins over Penn State, Rutgers, Oregon, Indiana, Purdue, Ohio State, Nebraska and Rutgers again in the next nine games. After losses to Illinois, Maryland and Michigan State the Wolverines took out Purdue, Maryland and Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament on the way to the championship. After a win over UC San Diego on Thursday, the Wolverines hold a 26-9 record this year so far.

In the Thursday matchup with UC San Diego, Michigan came out of the first half with a 41-27 advantage. The Wolverines had to hang on during a 38-27 second half but ended up with the win 68-65. Tops in scoring was Vladislav Goldin with 14 points and seven rebounds. Tre Donaldson added 12 points with seven boards as well. Roddy Gayle put up 11 points with two boards in 27 minutes off the bench.

Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

Over on the Texas A&M side, they had a rough run at the end of February but otherwise carded a nice record in the regular season. The Aggies were 13-2 at the 15-game mark with losses to only UCF and Oregon. More losses to Alabama, Kentucky and Texas (with wins our LSU and Ole Miss) came in the next five games, then wins over Oklahoma, South Carolina, Missouri, Georgia and Arkansas. Texas A&M would lose to Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Florida before wins over Auburn and LSU. Following a double-overtime loss to Texas in the conference tournament, the Aggies beat Yale in First Round action on Thursday. That gives Texas A&M a 23-10 record through 33 games this year so far.

In the Yale matchup during First Round activity on Thursday, the Aggies were in the locker room with a 40-29 advantage. Texas A&M scored 40 more points the rest of the way during an 80-71 victory. Leading the way was Pharrel Payne, who came off the bench for 25 points and 10 rebounds on a double-double. Wade Taylor led the starters with 16 points and five assists, while Jace Carter notched 10 bench points with four rebounds in just nine minutes of work.

Why the Texas A&M Aggies will win

I’ll lean toward Texas A&M. This should be a pretty excellent matchup regardless, though. The Aggies didn’t have a ton of issues with Yale in their Thursday game, posting a nice 51.7 percent shooting with a 37-29 rebounding edge. It wasn’t a perfect effort though, as Texas A&M went just 6-of-25 (24 percent) from outside and 12-of-21 (57.1 percent) from the line alongside 11 turnovers. Still, that makes 80 or more points in three of the last four games (a 3-1 run) for the Aggies, including a nice win over a great Auburn team.

As for Michigan, things got a little too close for comfort in the second half of the UC San Diego game on Thursday. The Wolverines ended up shooting a tepid 42.1 percent from the floor and just 11-of-20 (55 percent) from the free throw line in the victory, but did have a 43-37 rebounding advantage. The major issue however, was the 14 turnovers for 15 UC San Diego points. Michigan really needs to clean up the ball-handling issues in this matchup or they’ll be in trouble. Should be a great game to watch, though.

Hayden Gray is the third double-digit scorer and Nordin Kapic is grabbing 5.2 rebounds. The UC San Diego Tritons are shooting 36.6 percent from beyond the arc and 74.6 percent from the free throw line. The UC San Diego Tritons are allowing 32.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 30.4 rebounds per game.

The Michigan Wolverines just beat Purdue, Maryland, and Wisconsin to win the Big Ten Tournament. Michigan responded from a three-game losing streak with a three-game winning streak.

Vladislav Goldin is averaging 16.7 points and 1.1 assists, while Danny Wolf is averaging 13.1 points and 9.8 rebounds. Michigan vs UC San Diego Injury Report

UC San Diego doesn’t have a player listed on its injury report. Michigan will be without Sam Walters, while Roddy Gayle Jr. is questionable with a hamstring injury.

This line shows a lot of respect toward a UC San Diego team that hasn’t lost a game in two months and is extremely balanced. UC San Diego is a top-100 offense and defense in the country and should have a decent fan base show up with this game on the West Coast.

However, let’s pump the brakes just a bit. Michigan found its swagger by stealing the Big Ten Tournament and should be feeling good about itself. Dusty May was a great tournament coach at FAU, and he’s picking up where he left off now with Michigan. UC San Diego is 25-7 ATS on the season, which makes it even more attractive, but I’m going to lay the bucket with the Wolverines on Thursday night.

Michigan jumped out to a big lead early in the second half against Maryland on Saturday, but they were fortunate to escape with a win after blowing a 15 point lead. The Wolverines ended the regular season really struggling in all facets of the game, but they have played well against Purdue and Maryland. Wisconsin has won three games in a row and knocked off Michigan State on Saturday afternoon. The Badgers are the slightly better team when looking at points per game and points against per game, but I do think we are going to see plenty of points scored here. Michigan has scored at least 81 points in two straight, while Wisconsin has scored 75+ in three of their last four. Take the over here.

I’m on the Terrapins here. I get that Michigan is going to be a tough team to prepare for considering that the Wolverines have two 7-footers in Goldin and Wolf to key in on. But that didn’t bother Maryland when these two squared off about a week and a half ago. The Terrapins have the size inside to match up with Michigan. Side-by-side, I think that Maryland is the better team and the more I see Maryland on the floor, the more I see this Terrapins team making a sustained run in the NCAA tournament. I just have my concerns with Michigan defensively and I think that Maryland gets another win over the Wolverines here to get the win and cover to progress to the Big Ten title game.

Purdue Boilermakers Betting Preview

The Purdue Boilermakers (22-10, 17-15 ATS) went through their worst period of the season in February when they suffered four straight losses. Michigan Wolverines Betting Preview

The Michigan Wolverines (22-9, 13-18 ATS) finished the regular season on a disappointing note by suffering three consecutive defeats, their longest losing run of the season. After losing to Illinois, Maryland, and Michigan State, the Wolverines dropped to 3rd place in the Big Ten but still stayed among the top four seeds and skipped the first two rounds of the conference tourney.

Michigan Wolverines Betting Preview

Michigan has a couple of (very brief) spotty stints this season, but overall they’re doing very well despite slipping a bit over the last five outings. The Wolverines kicked things off on an 8-1 opening run, falling to only Wake Forest on November 10 during that time. After consecutive losses to Arkansas and Oklahoma, the Wolverines took out Fort Wayne, Western Kentucky, USC, UCLA and Washington. Next came a 1-2 run with a win over Northwestern in between losses to Minnesota and Purdue. Michigan would roll past Penn State, Rutgers, Oregon, Indiana, Purdue and Ohio State in the next six before a loss to Michigan State and wins over Nebraska and Rutgers. Since then it’s been consecutive losses again, this time to Illinois and Maryland. In total that gives the Wolverines a 22-8 overall record across 30 games so far.

In the Maryland matchup on Wednesday, the Wolverines came out of halftime with a 33-22 deficit. Michigan got better in the second half with a 43-38 advantage but still ended up losing 71-65. Tops in scoring were Danny Wolf (eight rebounds; four assists) and Vladislav Goldin (15 rebounds and three assists for a double-double), each with 20 points. Tre Donaldson also landed in double-figures during the defeat with 10 points, six assists and three rebounds. Will Tschetter led a limp bench outing with three points and four rebounds.

Michigan State Spartans Betting Preview

Over on the Michigan State side, they had one brief rough patch in the record column back in February, but aside from that it’s been a very nice run for the Spartans all year. Michigan State lost to Kansas and Memphis in their first seven games, then rattled off a lengthy win streak over North Carolina, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oakland, FAU, Western Michigan, Ohio State, Washington, Northwestern, Penn State, Illinois, Rutgers and Minnesota. A 1-3 run came next with a win over Oregon amid losses to USC, UCLA and Indiana. Since then however, the Spartans have bounced back with wins over Illinois, Purdue, Michigan, Maryland, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Matched up against Iowa on Thursday, Michigan State was down 37-30 by the break. The Spartans came back on a 61-47 run from there however, powering out the win 91-84. Tops in scoring was Jase Richardson with 22 points and four rebounds in 33 minutes of work during the comeback victory.

Michigan State vs Michigan Prediction

I’ll take a stab on Michigan here. Regardless, this should be a pretty fun rivalry matchup. The Wolverines do need a much better effort Sunday following their loss to Maryland this past week, though. Michigan shot decently (43.5 percent) and had a 39-37 rebounding edge. Trouble is, the Wolverines only got to the line for seven shots (making four), and coughed up 16 turnovers for 21 Terrapins points in a sloppy game. That’s the third time in the last four games that Michigan has finished below 66 points.

On February 21 when these teams last met, Michigan fell at home 75-62. The Wolverines were doing fine at the break on a 38-34 edge but got pummeled 41-24 the rest of the way. Michigan shot fairly well in that one also (46 percent), however they again got into turnover trouble with 15 for 18 Spartans points. The 34-25 rebounding deficit didn’t help, either. In the road rematch ball security is going to be even more important, as Michigan likely won’t win the rebounding battle. It’s going to take a strong effort but I think the Wolverines can stay close enough to cover in this one.

Maryland Terrapins Betting Preview

The Maryland Terrapins are 22-7 (12-6) this season after they defeated Penn State by a score of 68-64 in their last game. Maryland trailed 36-30 at halftime, but they held Penn State to just 28 points in the second half in the win. The Terrapins shot 38.5% from the field, 33.3% on three-pointers, and 84.6% on free throws in the game. Derik Queen led Maryland with 23 points and six rebounds, while Ja’Kobi Gillespie added 19 points and seven assists in the game. 

Prior to that win, the Terrapins lost to Michigan State by a score of 58-55 but did beat USC by a score of 88-71 before that. Maryland has won five of their last six games and they are currently tied for third in the Big Ten standings with a 12-6 record. Maryland has scored 82.1 points per game and they have allowed 66.9 points per game, while also averaging 37 rebounds and 14.8 assists per game this year. Derik Queen is averaging 15.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, while Ja’Kobi Gillespie is averaging 15.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game this season. Maryland is shooting 47.9% from the field, 75.2% on free throws, and 36.8% on three-pointers this year.

Michigan comes into this matchup trying to bounce back from a blowout loss to Illinois, but they really haven’t played very well over the last few games. The Wolverines barely beat Rutgers and Nebraska prior to that Illinois loss, so they will be looking for a stronger performance here. Maryland has won five of their last six games, but they have also struggled through their last two. The Terrapins have been pretty strong on defense this year, which is a weakness for Michigan, but they have scored just 68 and 55 points in their last two games. Illinois Fighting Illini Betting Preview

Illinois opened up the season on a great clip, but they’ve struggled since early January amid a very tough schedule of opponents. The Illini kicked things off with a 12-3 run, taking out Eastern Illinois, SIU Edwardsville, Oakland, MD Eastern Shore, Little Rock, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Missouri, Chicago State, Oregon, Washington and Penn State in that time. A 5-5 run came next with wins over Indiana, Northwestern, Ohio State, Minnesota and UCLA among losses to USC, Michigan State, Maryland, Nebraska and Rutgers. After three straight losses to Michigan State, Wisconsin and Duke, Illinois finally got another win over Iowa, improving their record to 18-11 overall on the year through 29 games so far.

In the Iowa matchup on Tuesday, Illinois held a seven-point edge going into the second half. The Illini kept it up from there, posting a 44-31 run on the way to an 81-61 victory in the end. Topping the scorers in the home win was Tomislav Ivisic with 22 points, four boards and five assists. Both Kylan Boswell (four rebounds; seven assists) and Will Riley (seven rebounds; two assists; two steals) chipped in 15 points apiece, while Tre White added 14 points with two rebounds in 20 minutes on the floor.

Over on the Wolverines’ side, they’ve only got a couple of brief runs of spotty play in the books this year. Michigan has otherwise done very well in the record column. The Wolverines opened on an 8-3 stretch, taking losses to only Wake Forest, Arkansas and Oklahoma during that time. Michigan vs Illinois Prediction

I’m going to try Illinois here, but you could make a good argument the other way–especially with the relatively thin line. The Illini finally got a much-needed win over a middling Iowa team in their last outing, shooting 50.8 percent from the field with just five turnovers along the way. Illinois got outmuscled on the boards 36-31, but also scored 17 points off 16 Hawkeyes turnovers. The Illini had given up 74 or more points in 11 straight games prior to that, so if they return to form on Sunday Illinois could be in trouble.

As for Michigan, they started slowly versus Rutgers and played a sloppy game overall with 14 turnovers for 16 Knights points. The Wolverines shot 53.7 percent from the field but also hit a tepid 65.6 percent (21-of-32) from the line and 5-of-21 (23.8 percent) from outside. Still, it was a nice points total (84) after finishing below 63 points in consecutive games. Depending on how things shake out here, Michigan could easily control things the whole way. That said, if Illinois plays to their capabilities—and gets off to a fast start like Rutgers did—I can see the Illini hanging in there. It would be nice if the line were a little thicker, though.

The Knights have had a middling year so far amid a pretty tough schedule, and it’s given them a .500 record on the season. Rutgers opened the year on a pretty decent 8-5 run, taking wins over Wagner, Saint Peter’s, Monmouth, Merrimack, Notre Dame, Penn State, Seton Hall, and Columbia with losses to Kennesaw State, Alabama, Texas A&M, Ohio State and Princeton otherwise. After losses to Indiana, Wisconsin, and Purdue, the Scarlet Knights posted a 5-3 run that featured wins over UCLA, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Illinois. After three more losses versus Maryland, Iowa, and Oregon, Rutgers has since taken out Washington and USC in consecutive games. The Knights have mustered a 14-14 overall run through 28 games so far.

In the USC matchup on Sunday, the Knights were up 44-39 going into the second half. Rutgers kept it up from there on a 51-46 stretch and took the win in the end 95-85. Leading the team in scoring was Dylan Harper with 25 points with nine assists, two rebounds, and six steals. Ace Bailey added 14 points with three rebounds and three assists, while Lathan Sommerville had 10 points with three rebounds in 21 minutes of work. Tops off the bench was Jamichael Davis, who chipped in with 13 points, three rebounds, two steals, and one assist in 15 minutes.

I’ll take a stab at Rutgers here. The Knights pulled off a pretty solid home win versus a potentially dangerous USC team in their last outing, hitting a nice 55.6 percent from the field and 26-of-28 (92.9 percent) from the line. Rutgers did get outfoxed on the boards 34-27 but also scored 22 points off 16 Trojans turnovers. The Knights were pretty sloppy with the ball themselves, however, posting 13 turnovers for 20 points on the other side.

These teams last saw each other back on February 1 in a 66-63 home win for the Wolverines. Rutgers was competitive on the boards in that one but shot just 32.8 percent from the field and had 12 turnovers for 14 Wolverines points. Michigan is coming off their lowest-scoring victory (49) in 17 years at Nebraska, and they’ve hit a bit of a scoring slump over the last pair with a combined 111 points. If Rutgers can play a physical, defensive game here—and control the turnovers—I think they’ve got a shot.

Danny Wolf adds 12.8 PPG a tea-high 9.9 RPG, 3.8 APG, and 1.5 SPG, while Tre Donaldson contributes 12.3 PPG, 3.4 RPG, a team-high 3.9 AP, and a team-high 1.0 SPG.

Nebraska Cornhuskers Betting Preview

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (17-10, 15-12 ATS) went through a tough stretch of six consecutive losses and responded with five victories in the last seven games. Following a four-game winning streak, Nebraska lost to Maryland, beat Northwestern, and lost to Penn State. Michigan keeps winning games, and they have all kinds of confidence right now. Two games ago against Purdue, they picked up a 75-73 victory, and in the last game against the Ohio State Buckeyes, they were able to pick up an 86-83 win. They were up 44-39 at halftime and never looked back on the way to victory. Vladislav Goldin had a strong game, putting up 20 points, nine rebounds, and one assist. There were three different players that ended up putting up at least 11 points. 

Michigan, overall, sits with a 20-5 record, and they have gone 12-13 against the spread. Michigan averages 81.6 points, while their defense gives up 71 points per game. The offense is ranked 28th in the league, while the defense is ranked 163rd in the league. Michigan, straight up at home this season, has gone 12-0. They are shooting 49.04 percent from the field, which is 15th in the league. Vladislav Goldin has been the top player for Michigan, averaging 15.7 points while shooting 64 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the three-point line. It’s hard to imagine where this team would be without Goldin this year, but I can’t imagine it would be all that pretty.

Michigan State Looks for Third Straight Win

Michigan State is playing well right now, and they have won two games in a row. Two games ago against Illinois, Michigan State secured the 79-65 victory, and in the last game against Purdue, they secured the 75-66 victory. In the second half, they scored 42 points, and finishing games strong has been a big reason for the success this year. It was a balanced attack, with four different players putting up at least 10 points. Jase Richardson had a strong game, putting up 12 points, three assists, and one rebound. 

Michigan State has a 21-5 record overall, and they have gone 16-9-1 against the spread. Michigan State averages 79.1 points, while their defense gives up 67.4 points per game. The offense is ranked 62nd in the league, while the defense is ranked 58th in the league. Jaden Akins has been the top player for Michigan this season, averaging 13.1 points while shooting 41.8 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from behind the three-point line. If he could even improve the three-point shooting by just a couple of percentage points, this team would be even more dangerous.  Michigan State is still probably not getting talked about enough, but this classic Tom Izzo team could make a deep run in March.

Michigan State is a strong offensive team, but Michigan averages 81.6 points per game, and they will have no issue running up the score here. Goldin is playing confidently right now, and he will be a mismatch here. This Michigan squad is just too deep, especially at home.  No matter the pace at which this game is played, Michigan will make the baskets late to come out on top like they have done all season in front of their home fans. It might be a sweat, and they might only win by six, but that will be enough to cash the tickets. Back Michigan to win this game and cover the spread.

Michigan Wolverines Betting Preview

The Wolverines have a couple of very brief rough spots in the record column so far this year. Overall, however, Michigan is doing quite well against tough competition. An 8-1 start awaited the Wolverines over their first nine outings, with a lone loss to Wake Forest amid wins versus Cleveland State, TCU, Miami Ohio, Tarleton State, Virginia Tech, Xavier, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Consecutive losses to Arkansas and Oklahoma followed, then came wins over Fort Wayne, Western Kentucky, USC, UCLA, and Washington. Michigan went 1-2 over the next three with a win over Northwestern in between losses to Minnesota and Purdue. Since then it’s been wins over Penn State, Rutgers, Oregon, Indiana, and Purdue in succession. That gives the Wolverines a 19-5 overall record through their first 24 games of the year.

In the Purdue game on Tuesday, the Wolverines were down by two points at the break. Michigan hit a 40-36 run the rest of the way however, eventually pulling out the win 75-73 in dramatic fashion. Leading team scorer Danny Wolf posted 15 points with nine rebounds and two assists. Both Vladislav Goldin (five rebounds; three steals) and Tre Donaldson (three rebounds) chipped in 12 points apiece, and Roddy Gayle led the bench scoring with his 14 points, seven boards and two assists in 27 minutes of work on the floor.

Ohio State Buckeyes Betting Preview

Over on the Ohio State side, they’ve got a couple of choppy runs in the books so far but overall they’re not doing too badly either. The Buckeyes went 6-4 over their first 10 games, taking out Texas, Youngstown State, Evansville, Campbell, Green Bay, and Rutgers among losses to Texas A&M, Pitt, Maryland, and Auburn. Ohio State beat Valparaiso, Kentucky, Indiana State, and Minnesota over the next five (with a loss to Michigan State), then lost to Oregon, Wisconsin, and Indiana. Since then it’s been a 5-2 run with losses to only Illinois and Nebraska. The wins otherwise have been over Purdue, Iowa, Penn State, Maryland and Washington. Through 25 games this year, Ohio State has carved out a 15-10 overall record.

Matched up against Washington in their Wednesday game, the Buckeyes came out of the break with a 51-36 edge. Ohio State hit a 42-33 run the rest of the way and took the eventual win 93-69. John Mobley (two rebounds; two assists) and Micah Parrish (seven rebounds; three assists) led the way with 21 points apiece. Bruce Thornton added 17 points with four rebounds and five assists, while Aaron Bradshaw posted 12 points with three rebounds.

Why the Ohio State Buckeyes will win

Ohio State vs Michigan Prediction

I’m going to take a stab at Ohio State. The Buckeyes are fresh off a dominant win versus a middling Washington team, posting a nice 58.2 percent shooting with a 34-22 rebounding edge and 18-of-22 (81.8 percent) from the line. The 14 turnovers were just about the only blemish to speak of in that home victory. Ohio State has now gone 5-2 in their last seven games amid some difficult teams, scoring 71 or more points in each of those outings.

As for Michigan, they were able to dispatch a talented Purdue team in their last matchup thanks to 44.6 percent shooting. The Wolverines did give up 11 turnovers for 14 Boilermakers points, though. Michigan has won five straight themselves with 70 or more points in four of those. Ohio State is in for a tough matchup here, even in a home game. The Buckeyes are going to have to minimize their mistakes and get off to a quick start in order to keep pace. I like a highly entertaining game on Sunday as the Buckeyes power out an eventual cover. It’ll be a good one to watch regardless.

Purdue Boilermakers Betting Preview

The Boilermakers have really only had one spotty four-game stretch this year—and that was way back in December. Otherwise, Purdue has been quite consistent over the course of the season. Wins came in the first eight outings over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Northern Kentucky, Yale, Alabama, Marshall, NC State, and Ole Miss (with a lone loss to Marquette). A 1-3 run came next with a win over Maryland amid losses to Penn State, Texas A&M, and Auburn, then more wins over Toledo, Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers, Nebraska, Washington, and Oregon. Following another loss to Ohio State, the Boilermakers beat Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, and USC in their next four. That would give Purdue a 19-5 overall record through the first 24 games of the 2024-25 season.

In the USC matchup back on Friday, the Boilermakers opened the game with a 48-36 advantage. Purdue kept it going in the second half on a 42-36 run and took the eventual win in a pretty sizable fashion 90-72. Leading team scorer Trey Kaufman-Renn posted a double-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 30 minutes of work. Fletcher Loyer added 14 points with two rebounds and one assist, while Braden Smith bagged nine points with 13 assists, five steals, and three rebounds in 35 minutes on the floor during the win.

Over on the Michigan side, they came out of the gate with a pretty good run. For the most part, the Wolverines have maintained form since then. Michigan went 8-1 in their first nine games with wins over Cleveland State, TCU, Miami-OH, Tarleton State, Virginia Tech, Xavier, Wisconsin, and Iowa in that time. Both Trey Donaldson (four rebounds; three assists) and Vladislav Goldin (eight rebounds) chipped in with 18 points apiece, and Will Tschetter had four points off the bench.

Michigan vs Purdue Prediction

I’m going to stay with Michigan here. You could probably make a case either way, though. It’ll be a fun matchup. The Wolverines faded late in their last outing versus Indiana, but still held on for the win in the end. Michigan shot 44.4 percent from the field in that one, adding a 37-31 rebidding advantage. The 12 turnovers for 14 Hoosiers points really hurt, though. That said, the Wolverines have hit 70 or more points in three of the last four games (all wins) so they’re scoring pretty well right now.

The last time these teams met up, Michigan took a rough 91-64 road loss. The Wolverines shot pretty miserably in that one (37 percent) and had a ton of mistakes with a whopping 22 turnovers for 29 Boilermakers points. Michigan has a lot to clean up in the home rematch, but I think they can get in there if they play to their capabilities. I could just as easily see Purdue controlling this one though, so I’m probably staying away in reality.

Vladislav Goldin is averaging 15.6 points and 1.3 assists, while Tre Donaldson is averaging 12.7 points and 3.5 rebounds. Danny Wolf is the third double-digit scorer and Roddy Gayle Jr. is grabbing 3.5 rebounds. The Michigan Wolverines are shooting 36.8 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free throw line. The Michigan Wolverines are allowing 30.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35 rebounds per game.

Indiana Hoosiers Betting Preview

The Indiana Hoosiers lost to Purdue and Wisconsin, and they play Michigan State, UCLA, and Purdue next. The Indiana Hoosiers are averaging 76.5 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 73.7 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Oumar Ballo is averaging 14 points and 9.9 rebounds, while Mackenzie Mgbako is averaging 13.2 points and 1.2 assists. Malik Reneau is the third double-digit scorer and Myles Rice is grabbing 3.1 rebounds. The Indiana Hoosiers are shooting 32.2 percent from beyond the arc and 71.8 percent from the free throw line. The Indiana Hoosiers are allowing 33.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.8 rebounds per game.

Indiana vs Michigan Injury Report

Michigan doesn’t have a player listed on its injury report. Indiana will be without Gabe Cupps, Shaun Burke, and Ian Stephens. Kanaan Carlyle, Jakai Newton and Jackson Creel are questionable for Indiana.

Indiana vs Michigan Prediction

The Indiana Hoosiers are always a tough out at home, but they’ve lost four straight games and have allowed no less than 76 points in seven straight games. That’s not ideal when going up against a Michigan offense that’s top-25 in scoring and top-10 in field goal percentage. Michigan has failed to cover six straight games, but the Wolverines have four road wins on the season, and we’re not being asked to lay anything crazy. Indiana is watching its season unravel quickly, and it’s going to be a long night if the defense doesn’t improve. Give me Michigan and the small chalk on the road.
