I’m on the Cubs here. I want to get on the White Sox, I really do, because there’s going to be value backing them in spots this season. While Jonathan Cannon is a solid option, I just don’t see this as a game where he gets the job done. Colin Rea is far from a world-beater and far from an option I’d lay this kind of price with, but it’s a price that I will back because the Cubs have been the far superior team here. Houston Astros Betting Preview

The rust will be there, that’s certain, so I am backing the White Sox to score multiple runs off McCullers Jr. Bryse Wilson, on the other hand, is a reliever and I don’t think he’ll pitch for more than 3.0 innings, but I am sure the Astros are going to get him early on. Wilson allowed a .353 BA in 34 at-bats against the Astros. Seven of Chicago’s last ten games went Over. I am going with another Over in this one.

Overall, this game has to do with the White Sox being the worst team in baseball over the last three combined seasons and holding no betting value whatsoever. Even with a win yesterday, the White Sox have won two straight games just once this season. As I’ve said a lot this season, I want nothing to do with the White Sox, and one win doesn’t change anything. Of course, I’ll lay the RL to shave down the expensive price.
