It should also be noted Jeeno Thitikul finished 12th at the 2024 Chevron Championship.

A Lim Kim $9,500

Since the beginning of January, A Lim Kim has played six events on the LPGA Tour, in those six tournaments just mentioned, Kim compiled five top nine finishes, including a win at the 2025 Hilton Grands Vacations Tournament of Champions.

A Lim Kim certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. A Lim Kim is currently ranked third in strokes gained tee to green (1.96), third in strokes gained off the tee (0.87), ninth in strokes gained around the green (0.66) and third in total strokes gained (2.50) on the LPGA Tour.

Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to scoring average are on the LPGA Tour (in this week’s field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite tournament matchup bet for this week’s 2022 LPGA Mediheal Championship.

Celine Boutier -120 over Sei Young Kim

Since the beginning of August, Celine Boutier has played six tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those six events just noted Boutier has accumulated an impressive five top nine finishes, including a fifth place result at the 2022 NW Arkansas Championship two weeks ago.

Celine Boutier also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Boutier is currently ranked 19th in GIR (greens in regulation-73.25%), fifth in putts per GIR (1.74), and tenth in total birdies made (280) on the LPGA Tour.

It should also be noted that Celine Boutier finished fifth at the 2021 Mediheal Championship.

Before I discuss my favorite golf bet for this week’s LPGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most important to success at this week’s 2022 Ascendant (formerly the Volunteers Of America Classic).

The Ascendant will be played at the Old American Golf Club in The Colony, Texas. This golf course is a par 71 that measures 6,459 yards. This track will present this week’s field with three par five holes. This track also features 123 bunkers that are strategically placed throughout the golf course.

The Old American Golf Club has hosted this week’s LPGA Tour event since it’s inception in 2018.     

The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are GIR (greens in regulation), driving accuracy, and putts per GIR.

Now let’s shift our attention to my favorite golf bet for the 2022 Ascendant.

Jeongeun Lee6 +400

Three weeks ago, Jeongeun Lee6 fired a second round 63 at the 2022 Kroger Queen City Championship en route to an eventual fourth place finish.

Jeongeun Lee6 also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. More specifically, Lee6 has played this week’s LPGA Tour event three times since 2019. In those three tournaments just noted, Lee6 has accumulated an impressive three top 16 finishes, including a seventh place result at the 2021 Volunteers Of America Classic.

In summary, I am backing Jeongeun Lee6 to top ten at odds of +400.

The NW Arkansas Championship will be played at the Pinnacle Country Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This track is a par 71 that measures 6,438 yards. The Pinnacle Country Club has hosted the NW Arkansas Championship since the event’s debut on the LPGA Tour schedule in 2007. It should be noted that this week’s LPGA Tour tournament will be a 54 hole event played over the course of three days.

The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are driving accuracy, GIR (greens in regulation), driving distance, scrambling, and putts per GIR.

Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bet for this week’s LPGA Tour event.

Lydia Ko +300

Since the beginning of May, Lydia Ko has played 11 tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those 11 tournaments just noted, Ko has accumulated an impressive ten top 16 finishes, including a fourth place finish at the 2022 CP Women’s Open last month.

Lydia Ko also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2013, Lydia Ko has played the NW Arkansas Championship nine times. In those nine tournaments just noted, Lydia Ko has accumulated seven top 25 finishes, including a win at the 2016 NW Arkansas Championship.

Lydia Ko currently ranks first in putts per GIR (1.73), fifth in total birdies made (293), and second in scoring average (69.42) on the LPGA Tour.

In summary, I am backing Lydia Ko to top five at this week’s NW Arkansas Championship at odds of +300.
