That’s what we’re getting in Gallen, who is starting to heat up, allowing four hits and two runs in his last 13 innings while striking out 15.

And while Gallen hasn’t had much team success against the Dodgers, he’s holding current LAD hitters to a .241 batting average with 47 strikeouts in 170 at-bats. Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are batting .217 against Gallen with 12 strikeouts in a combined 46 at-bats. It’s easy to back the Dodgers and the cheap price, as you’re not going to get these chances often. The Dodgers are also riding a wave of momentum after last night. However, May is still working his way back in the mix, and he’s been hittable this season through 33 innings, allowing 27 hits and 16 earned runs while walking 14.

The Diamondbacks have rebounded from a loss all week and Burnes is slowly finding his footing, allowing four earned runs in his last 17.1 innings. If what we’ve seen up to this point is the worst Burnes is going to pitch, we’re due for some gems moving forward. Burnes is holding current Dodgers to a .205 batting average and .286 on base percentage with 25 strikeouts in 88 at bats. Give me the Diamondbacks and the slightly more favorable price.
