The PGA Tour returns to Texas for the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Where will the Charles Schwab Challenge be played?

The 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge will be played at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. The golf course is a par 70 that measures 7,289 yards.

Will the Charles Schwab Challenge have a traditional cut?

The 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge will have a field of 136 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play the top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round. The remaining players will miss the cut.

Charles Schwab Challenge Key Player Statistics

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

2025 Charles Schwab Challenge Draftkings Picks

Scottie Scheffler $13,700

The talented American arrives at this week’s event on the heels of five consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including two wins (2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson: 2025 PGA Championship).

Scheffler is currently ranked first in strokes gained approach (1.235), first in par four scoring average (3.88), first in overall strokes gained (2.596), third in GIR (greens in regulation-70.83%), second in strokes gained off the tee (0.750) and first in bogey avoidance (10.14%) on the PGA Tour.

Scheffler also checks the box for me when it comes to previous tournament/course results. Since 2022, Scheffler has played this week’s PGA Tour event three times. In those three tournaments just mentioned, Scheffler amassed three top three finishes, including a second-place result at the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Tommy Fleetwood $10,000

The talented Englishman has compiled two top seven finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a fourth-place result at the 2025 Truist Championship two weeks ago.

Fleetwood is currently ranked ninth in overall strokes gained (1.265), tenth in strokes gained tee to green (1.138), 12th in strokes gained approach (0.596), ninth in overall putting average (1.706), 11th in overall scoring average (70.24) and 11th in par four scoring average (3.97) on the PGA Tour.

Daniel Berger $8,400

Since the beginning of January, Daniel Berger has played 13 events on the PGA Tour. In those 13 tournaments just mentioned, Berger has compiled nine top 25 finishes, including an impressive third-place result at the 2025 RBC Heritage last month.

Due to Berger’s quality result at the RBC Heritage I decided to take a hard look at the player data from the event to see how Berger fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 RBC Heritage, in relation to the field, Daniel Berger ranked third in driving accuracy (75%), fifth in GIR (greens in regulation-70.8%), eighth in total birdies made (19) and second in bogey avoidance (2).

It is noteworthy that Daniel Berger has posted a quality result at Colonial Country Club in the past. More specifically, Berger won the 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Additional golfers I like to perform well this week (Draftkings price noted): Harris English $9,200: Davis Riley $8,600: J.T. Poston $9,400: Bud Cauley $7,800: Alex Smalley $7,700: Hayden Buckley $6,300.
