The season is pretty much done for Juventus, and the only trophy they could have won was the Coppa Italia, which they lost in the overtime to Inter earlier this week. Juventus was losing at halftime of that game, but with 2 quick goals in the second half, Juventus took the lead. Unfortunately for Juventus, they have conceded a goal, the game went to the overtime, and Juventus has conceded 2 more goals then. The final score was 2-4 for Inter. Juventus has been terrible in Serie A this season, they haven’t done much in the Champions League, and they didn’t deserve to win anything. With 10 scored goals and 5 assists, Dybala has been Juventus’ best player this season. but he will be leaving the club in the summer. Morata has added 8 goals and 5 assists. There are still a few injured players for Juventus. Overall, a very disappointing season for Juventus, and they can only hope the next one will be better.

Lazio is now on a nice 2-game winning streak which brought them to this Europa League spot, but the bad news is they can no longer reach the Champions League spot. When it comes to scoring goals, Lazio has been one of the best this season with 72 scored goals so far, but their defense has been horrible with 53 conceded goals. I think if they consider everything, Lazio will be happy with the Europa League spot, that is if they get it because they are still in danger of losing it. Immobile has been outstanding for Lazio this season with 27 scored goals, but he is still questionable for this game. Milinkovic-Savic has 10 goals and 10 assists. There are no injuries in Lazio at this time. In the last game of the season, Lazio will be playing against Verona at home, and I’m not sure if they can really count on points in that one, but they are good enough in the attacking end to outscore Juventus in this game, and I think they will go for it.

Juventus hasn’t lost to Lazio in their last 3 home games, but they don’t need anything from this game. Lazio is a fantastic team in the attacking end, but their defense is garbage. I see goals in this one, on both sides.

There are some hard games left for Lazio to play this season, and I’m not sure their offense will be enough to get to the Europa League, Lazio needs defense.

As I’ve mentioned, Milan got destroyed by Inter in the Coppa Italia earlier this week, and that is the trophy they can no longer win this season. As far as Serie A goes, Milan is still at the top with 71 points, but they have one game more played over Inter, and that could be crucial this season. Defensively, Milan has done a solid job this season considering they lost their best defender at the start of the season. Milan has conceded only 29 goals. When it comes to scoring goals, Milan can do a lot better than the 58 goals they have scored, but even that is good. Leao is now the leading goalscorer for Milan with 9 goals, while Ibrahimovic and Giroud have added 8 goals each. Hernandez has added 6 assists. Ibrahimovic, Castillejo, Florenzi, and Kjaer are all injured. Milan’s schedule is hard, they are playing all the strong teams, and they will need a lot of luck to win the title this season, but stranger things have happened.

This will be a fun game to watch, and I see a lot of goals in it. Lazio is a strong offensive team this season, but their defense is garbage. I want Milan to win, but it will be a hard game. I don’t think either team can keep a clean sheet here, but I do see Milan winning this game.

Lazio has lost only 1 of their last 5 games, and that was in a derby against Roma a few weeks ago. In their last 2 games, Lazio has scored 6 goals, conceded only 2 goals, and they have won both of those games. Only Inter is better at scoring goals than Lazio this season, but 64 scored goals is a fantastic accomplishment for Lazio. Immobile has been in excellent form for Lazio with 24 scored goals, but not so much for the Italian national team. Milinkovic-Savic has added 9 goals and 8 assists. Lazio is now in 6^th place, and they will be fighting for the Europa League spot with Roma until the end of the season, but the schedule is not easy for Lazio, and with their defense, they can’t really count on any points beforehand.

Torino has been struggling, a lot, but they are now undefeated in their last 2 games while tying with Milan in their last game in Serie A. Torino has a lot of draws this season, 9 to exact, but they have also lost too many games for them to expect something better than 11 places this season. Offensively, Torino is not doing much, with only 35 scored goals, but their defense has been pretty good with 30 conceded goals in 31 games. As far as their schedule goals, Torino has a few games they could definitely win, but they also have a few games that will make them sweat. Brekalo is the leading goalscorer for Torino with 6 goals, while Belotti and Sanabria have added 5 goals each. Overall, I think Torino could have done better, they certainly have the quality to do so, but they are a work in progress, their defense has improve immensely, and they will get even better next season.

When playing at home, Lazio hasn’t lost to Torino in their last 3 games. At the moment, it’s very hard to take the under in Lazio’s games, and with Torino’s defense on the road, I don’t dare take it here. We are getting the over at a nice plus money, and I know the bookies are not expecting it, but I am.

Lazio has won only 2 of their last 7 games, and they lost in the Derby Della Capitale to Roma just before the international break, without scoring a goal I might add. Lazio is still on the hunt for the Europa League game, which is now only 2 points away from them. With 49 points, Lazio is in 7^th place, they have scored 58 goals so far while conceding 45 goals. Of those 58 goals, Immobile has scored 21 goals, while Pedro and Milinkovic-Savic have added 8 goals each. Milinkovic-Savic has added 8 assists as well. Lazio might be in the hunt for the Europa League in Serie A this season, but as far as the Europa League goes this season, Lazio has gotten knocked out by Porto in that playoff round. If Lazio can keep their offense as is, and if they could improve their defense by even a little bit, they would have been one of the top teams in Serie A.

Sassuolo has been outstanding lately, they have been scoring goals like crazy, and they are undefeated in their last 6 games. Of those 6 games, Sassuolo has 4 wins and 2 draws, alongside 16 scored goals, and 7 conceded goals. Theoretically, Sassuolo could still reach Europe, but the competition for that is really strong, and I’m afraid Sassuolo doesn’t have the defense for it. Sassuolo has conceded 49 goals in 30 games. As far as their offense goes, Sassuolo is having a lot of fun, and they are one of the top offensive teams in the league with 55 scored goals. Berardi is Sassuolo’s top goalscorer with 14 goals and 12 assists. Scamacca has added 13 goals. Sassuolo is a type of team that usually steps up against the big boys, and the good news for them is they are facing pretty much all of them until the end of the season. When Sassuolo is playing, they are having fun, they are scoring goals, and they look cool doing it.

There is an obvious choice here, and that is goals, on both sides. Neither team has a good defense, and I just don’t see either of them keeping a clean sheet. I’m taking goals on both sides.

Roma is undefeated in their last 7 games, but they have 2 draws in a row now. In the conference League, Roma has drawn Bodo once again, and they will look to redeem themselves after getting their asses kicked by them twice. In Serie A, Roma is now in 7^th place with 48 points, which is still pretty close to the Europa League spot, but as I’ve mentioned before, the competition is very strong for that in Serie A this season. With 13 scored goals so far, Abraham is the leading goalscorer for Roma with 13 goals, while Pellegrini has added 7 goals and 6 assists. Spinazzola is the only injured player for Roma at this time. I’ve mentioned Roma is inconsistent, they are not good defensively, but they certainly are good enough to perform better than they are at the moment.

Lazio is one of the best offensive teams in the league so far, they have scored 58 goals so far, but they have also conceded a lot of goals, 42 in total. Only thanks to their offense, Lazio is now in 5^th place, which is the Europa League spot, but they will not reach that Champions League spot this season. in their last 2 games, Lazio has actually been playing well, they have scored 4 goals, won both games, and they have kept 2 clean sheets. Zaccagni is now the only missing player for Lazio, and he is suspended. With 21 scored goals, Immobile is in excellent form, and he is one of the best goalscorers in Serie A this season. Milinkovic-Savic has added 8 goals and 8 assists. Lazio is a very talented team offensively, they can outscore any team in the league easily, but they can’t do anything much because of their defense. I’m sure Lazio will be looking for a couple of defenders to fix their defense in the summer, but they won’t be easy to find.

This is one of the biggest derbies in Italy, and these are pretty much always rough and tense. Neither team is consistent this season, neither team is good defensively, but they can both score goals, especially Lazio. I see fouls here, I see cards, and I see a rough game.

Lazio is in solid form in Serie A, but overall, Lazio has only 1 win in their last 5 games. Thanks to their nice run in Serie A, Lazio is in 6^th place, and only 1 team is better than them offensively, and that is Inter. Lazio has scored 53 goals so far this season, which is amazing, but they have conceded 40 goals, and that is the most of all the top 8 teams at the moment. Maybe getting knocked out of the Europa League was a good thing for Lazio because they can now solely focus on Serie A, and with a few more wins, they might be in the Champions League spot. Immobile is the leading goalscorer for Lazio with 19 goals, and he is just behind Vlahovic as the leading scorer in the league. Luis Alberto and Milinkovic-Savic have each added 7 assists. Immobile is still questionable for this game, but I think he will play, while Pedro and Lazzari are injured for sure. Lazio has a ton of offensive firepower, but their defense is like a Swiss cheese, and they need to fix it fast.

Napoli is also one of the teams who got knocked out of the Europa League, and in that second leg against Barcelona, it was like they haven’t even shown up. Even though Napoli has lost only 1 of their last 4 games, they have lost the wrong one. In Serie A, Napoli is still the nest offensive team in the league with only 18 conceded goals, and their offense has been solid overall with 47 conceded goals. Napoli has also been struggling with scoring goals as of late, but now that they are out of the European competitions, they can focus on Serie A and try to win the title. Lozano, Malcuit, Lobotka, and Zambo are all injured, while Insigne is questionable. Osimhen and Mertens have each scored 7 goals for Napoli so far, while Insigne added 6 goals. Insigne and Zielinski have added 5 assists each. Napoli has been struggling a bit, but they are a great team, and they will get through this, I just hope it will be sooner rather than later.

Lazio has lost only 1 home game this season, and with their defense, that is a huge accomplishment. Napoli is great offensively, but I don’t think that either team can keep a clean sheet here. I see goals on both sides.

When these two teams faced off last Thursday it was Porto that was able to win 2-1. Lazio actually opened up the scoring in 23rd minute with a goal. Toni Martinez answered back scoring two goals in the 37th minute and 49th minute for Lazio. Lazio had 21 shots total while Lazio only had seven total. Porto looks to be in good shape being up 2-1, but they did give up a road goal, and that could come back to haunt them. 

FC Porto is having another big season currently sitting in 1st place of the Primeira Liga. In the last game against Moreirense, FC Porto scored a goal in the first half, and that was enough as the defense locked down and came away with the victory. Porto has scored 58 goals total while their defense has given up 16 goals. Luis Diaz has been the top player for FC Porto scoring 14 goals and adding four assists. Mehdi Taremi has also had a big season scoring 12 goals and adding eight assists. 

On the other side of this matchup is Lazio who have some work to do if they want to advance to the next round. In the last game against Udinese, Lazio didn’t look all that great, as they played to a 1-1 draw. Lazio gave up a goal in the 5th minute, and although they did answer back with a goal, they couldn’t find a second goal to come away with the victory. Lazio has scored 53 goals in Serie A but their defense has also given up 40 goals. The best player this season has been Ciro Immobile who has scored 19 goals total and added two assists. 

FC Porto is the better team, and even though they are up, they are going to be able to attack a Lazio defense that has been an issue all season. Look for FC Porto to score at least two goals, and that will be enough to come away with the victory.

FC Porto finished in third place in the standings of Group B of the Champions League. Porto finished with one win, two losses, and three draws which put them in 5th place in the standings. They have been playing well coming into this game, and in each of the last 12 games they have picked up at least one point. In the last game against Sporting, FC Porto played to a 2-2 draw. FC Porto had fallen behind 2-0 in the first 34 minutes. As the game went on through, FC Porto started to pick up steam, and two goals allowed them to pick up one point. In the Primeira Liga, FC Porto has scored 57 goals total while their defense has given up 16 goals. Luis Diaz has been the top player scoring 14 goals and adding four assists. Mehdi Taremi has also scored 12 goals and added seven assists.

On the other side of this matchup is S.S. Lazio who finished in second place in Group E of the Europa League. Lazio has won two of their last three games with the one loss being a 4-0 defeat at the hand of AC Milan. In the last game against Bologna, S.S. Lazio scored three goals, and that led to the shutout victory. Lazio has scored 52 goals while giving up 39 goals in Serie A. Ciro Immobile has been the top player for Lazio scoring 19 goals and adding two assists. Sergej Milinković-Savić has also been having a nice season scoring eight goals and adding six assists. In this game, S.S. Lazio needs their defense to be strong early, and they can’t fall behind early. 

FC Porto has been consistent this year, and I expect that is going to continue in this game. Just a few games ago Lazio gave up four goals to AC Milan, and they are going to struggle in this game. After being on a nice roll in Serie A, Lazio was facing Milan in Coppa Italia, and they got destroyed. Lazio started with their strongest lineup, but they couldn’t do anything against Milan, and they lost 4-0. As far as Serie A goes, Lazio is now in 6^th place thanks to their amazing offense, which is very fortunate for them because their defense is horrible. Lazio has scored 49 goals, and Immobile is their leading goalscorer with 18 goals. Milinkovic-Savic has added 8 goals and 7 assists. Acerbi is now the only injured player for Lazio. After that loss in Coppa Italia, Lazio will want to bounce back, and this is a good spot for them, but we will see if they are good enough mentally for that to happen.

Despite their bad streak, Bologna is far away from the relegation zone, in 13^th place with 28 points, 29 scored goals, and 37 conceded goals. Bologna’s form is not great, not even good, and they have won only 1 of their last 9 games in Serie A, while Bologna is out of Coppa Italia already. Michale, Dominguez, and Santander are still injured, while Viola is questionable. There isn’t a player in Bologna who is scoring a lot, but there are quite a few players that are doing well, such as Arnautovic with 6 goals, and Barrow with 5 goals. Barrow has also added 3 assists. As far as the schedule goes, Bologna has a few easier games ahead, but that doesn’t mean they can count on points, especially in their current form. Bologna is a tough little team, they are coached well, they are battling until the end, and that will give them a chance to have a solid season.

Bologna hasn’t won any of their last 4 games, while Lazio hasn’t lost in their last 6 home games. Lazio is scoring a lot more than Bologna, but their defense is making them vulnerable against every team in Serie A. I will go with goals in this one, even though I’m leaning towards Lazio.

As I’ve mentioned, Fiorentina has lost Vlahovic last week to Juventus in a 70 million Euros transfer, and that will have a huge impact on Fiorentina’s season from now on. Vlahovic has scored 17 goals so far this season, and there is no reason to think he won’t do the same in Juventus. with 36 points, Fiorentina is now in 8^th place, they have scored 41 goals while conceding 30 goals. Apart from Vlahovic, Fiorentina doesn’t have any other source of goals because Biraghi is their next goalscorer with only 4 goals. Odriazola is suspended because of the red card. Fiorentina did sign a striker from Basel last week, but he will not be on Vlahovic’s level, at least not right away. It will be a hard second half of the season for Fiorentina.

As I’ve mentioned, Lazio has a great offense, one of the best in the league, but their defense is really, really bad with 39 conceded goals in 23 games. With 36 points, Lazio is now in 7^th place, but they are still close to the Europa League, and even the Champions League. Before this short international break, Lazio was undefeated in their last 3 games, but they couldn’t beat that decimated Atalanta team in their last Serie A game. Lazio has only 2 injured players, and those are Acerbi and Akpa. Immobile has also been in excellent form so far this season with 17 scored goals, while Milinkovic-Savic has added 7 goals and 7 assists. I know Lazio can score goals against the best teams out there, I know they can outscore anyone with their offense this season, but unless they get their defense going, I’m afraid they won’t be able to reach the Europa League.

Now that they lost Vlahovic, Fiorentina will have a tough time creating chances and scoring goals, unless they find them coming from someone else, which is unlikely. Lazio is the better team here despite playing so bad defensively, and for that reason, I will side with Lazio here.

As I’ve mentioned, Lazio’s defense is terrible, like super terrible, and they have conceded 39 goals in 22 games. Fortunately for Lazio, they have the offense to compensate for their bad defense, and they have scored 46 goals so far this season. Immobile is one of the best goalscorers in Serie A, and he already has 17 goals to his name. Milinkovic-Savic has added 7 goals and 7 assists. There are a lot of injuries in Lazio, they also have a yellow card suspension, which means their team will once again be shuffled. With an offense like that, it’s easy not to care about your defense, but they won’t be always able to score 3 or 4 goals in a game. Lazio is now in 6^th place with 35 points, and they are still pretty close to the Champions League spot.

Atalanta is one of the top 4 teams in Serie A, they are incredibly talented in the attacking end, but even 44 scored goals in 21 games are not the best they can do. Atalanta can score a lot more than this, but they are struggling to stay consistent this season. Thanks to losing only 1 of their last 14 Serie A games, Atalanta is now in 4^th place, but Napoli is only 4 points away. Zapata is the leading goalscorer for Atalanta with 9 goals, but he is injured and will miss this game. Pasalic is the second-best goalscorer for Atalanta with 8 goals and 5 assists. Alongside Zapata, Gosens, Hateboer, Ilicic, and Malinovskyi are also injured. I gotta admit, the schedule is not easy for Atalanta, and these tough games are coming to them at the wrong time, but with the offensive capabilities Atalanta has, I think they could snag some points, and I think they could definitely score some goals in the next few weeks. Atalanta has the talent to be in the top 4, I would even go that far to say they could win the title, but as many teams are this season, Atalanta is struggling on the defensive end as well.

Lazio has lost only 1 home game so far this season, and they are playing well, at least in the attacking end. Atalanta can score against anyone, but they can’t defend right now, which means goals are the way to go.

The last Serie A game Inter has lost was back in October, and it was against Lazio. Now, with an offense like this, Inter doesn’t need the defense, but they have it, and it’s the best in the league with only 15 conceded goals in 19 games. As far as their goalscorers go, Inter is led by Martinez with 11 goals, while Dzeko added 8 goals. Barella and Calhanoglu have each added 7 assists. Cordaz and Satriano are injured, while Calhanoglu is suspended because of the yellow cards. Inter’s last game was postponed, which means they will be rested in this match, they are healthy, and their form is outstanding.

Lazio has also been playing well this season, mostly well, and they have been among the best offensive teams in the league with 42 scored goals. Lazio’s defense on the other hand is just garbage with 37 conceded goals, which is an average of almost 2 conceded goals per game. From this, we can conclude that they don’t have any problems with scoring, especially when Immobile is playing, but their defense is having a lot of problems keeping the ball out of their net. Immobile has already scored 14 goals so far this season, while Milinkovic-Savic and Pedro have each added 7 goals. The good news for Lazio is they don’t have any injuries, and that should help them on both ends, well, hopefully. Lazio is now in 6^th place with 32 points, which is just 6 points behind Atalanta in 4^th place which is the last Champions League spot, but with a defense like this, I think Lazio will need a lot of luck to get there, and I really mean a lot of luck.

The trends are pretty evenly split in this matchup, and both teams are in solid form. Inter is still undefeated at home this season, while Lazio is not the greatest on the road, especially defensively. I see goals on both sides, but I like Inter here.

Empoli has been outstanding as of late, and they have only 1 loss in their last 7 games, and it was against Milan just before the winter break. Thanks to this great streak, and thanks to their solid offense, Empoli is now in 9^th place with 27 points. Defensively, Empoli is not great, far from it, but their offense has been compensating for it, at least for now. The biggest problem for Empoli is they haven’t played a game in a couple of weeks, and when you play well, you certainly don’t want to go on a break. Fortunately for Empoli, they don’t have any injuries. Pinamonti is still the leading goalscorer for Empoli with 7 goals. A lot of smaller teams do well in the first half of the season, but as the season goes on, smaller teams start losing games, they stop playing well consistently, and they start sinking in the standings, and I think Empoli will be the same. Empoli does have the offense to compete, but I don’t think they can do it much longer with their bad defense.

The trends are heavily on Lazio’s side in this matchup, but Empoli has been in solid form, and we will see if that will continue here as well. I will take a risk here and hope that Empoli scores a goal.

Before the season started, Lazio looked like a decent team, and I thought they will have a solid season, and they still can, but they need to improve a lot on the defensive end. Offensively, Lazio can go toe to toe with the best teams in Serie A, but their defense is not allowing them to have more good games, and they will be lucky if they end up in the Europa League next season.

Genoa is probably the weakest team in Serie A right now, but they are only 2 points away from the safe zone, which is telling us Serie A has a lot of bed clubs this season. With 18 scored goals, Genoa is decent, but their 34 conceded goals are just too much. Genoa is in 18^th place with 10 points. Mattia Destro is the leading goalscorer for Genoa with 7 goals, while Rovella added 3 assists. It’s hard to name the best player for Genoa, but they do have a few solid ones, unfortunately for Genoa, it might not be enough to stay in Serie A next season as well. Luckily for Genoa, there are only 2 games left before the winter break, but unfortunately for Genoa, they are playing against Lazio and Atalanta, and I don’t think they will have a fun time.

When playing at home, Lazio has not lost to Genoa in their last 3 games, and I don’t think they will lose here, despite their bad defense. Genoa isn’t good enough to score even against this weak Lazio’s defense, and for that reason, I’m siding with Lazio.

Sampdoria is in low 15^th place right now, they have scored 21 goals while conceding 29 goals, and they have 15 points. Lazio was hosting Udinese in their last Serie A game, and they were the better team with 62% of ball possession, 5 shots on goal, 5 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and 87% of the correct passes. I have gotta say, this was an exciting game with a lot of goals, a lot of cards, and a lot of great chances. Lazio was losing 1-3 in the 44^th minute, they tied the score in the 56^th minute, then Lazio scored another goal in the 79^th minute, but Udinese has tied the score in the 99^th minute. The final result of this game was 4-4. Patric is suspended because of the red card, and there are no other injuries. Immobile has scored 11 goals for Lazio so far, while Pedro added 5 goals. Lazio has a solid offense, more than solid, but their defense needs a lot of work if they want to climb the standings, and I don’t think that will happen without signing some new players in January.

The trends are on Lazio’s side in this matchup, but I’m not sure I’m willing to bet my money on them in this game. Sampdoria can be tricky, especially at home, which is why I’m taking goals in this one.

For a long time in Serie A this season, Napoli has been untouchable, but now they are in a slump, and I hope it won’t lead to a disaster.

Lazio is playing hot and cold this season, and they are now in 7^th place in Serie A with 21 points. In the Europa League, Lazio is in 2^nd place, and they will be advancing to the next stage. Lazio was playing against Juventus in their last Serie A game, and it was at home. I know there is still a lot of time, but I honestly don’t see Juventus being a threat to Napoli, Milan, or Inter in the title run this season, but they could do something in the Champions League, maybe.

This will be a tough game, a battle, and I see a lot of fouls and yellow cards in this game. I don’t see it going over 2.5, and I don’t think either team has the edge over the other one, which is why I will take the draw.
