Winnipeg Jets Betting Preview

I’m on the Stars in this one. In fact, the Stars have won 19 of their last 28 games overall when they score at least two goals.

You can argue the Jets have been the better team this season overall and the plus money is attractive in pretty much a must win spot, but it’s hard to ignore the home / road splits for these teams. The price also isn’t steep enough to take a shot. Give me the Stars to go up 3-1 in this series.

Winnipeg controlled the pace of the game and had plenty of chances, but their power play went 0-4, which was a huge reason for the loss. On the bright side for Winnipeg, we saw a very good game from Hellebuyck in net and he continues to play well at home in the playoffs. I think we are going to see an even better performance from Winnipeg in this matchup and I think they could run away with it like Colorado did against Dallas in games four and six. I’m leaning towards the Dallas Stars here. I’m on the Avalanche in this one. It’s an interesting series that’s gone back and forth with swings both ways, but I truthfully had this as a series that was going seven from the jump, and I honestly expect no different here. However, the Stars are simply the better team, even on a back-to-back, and the Stars likely have the better goaltending option on Sunday with Jake Oettinger likely to start here as well. I’ll roll with Dallas on the road in this one.
